The devotees who visit the temple follow a custom of tying coconut in the temple which is the symbol of their wishes. The coconuts are tied on the walls in the premises of the temple in the numbers of 41, 48 and 108 by the devotees to get their wishes fulfilled.

The lord is offered beetle leaves after the sacred bath and the saffron color is applied to the idol’s forehead. The Sindoor is considered to be of utmost importance.
